Magic In Fallin

The storm was a swirling maelstrom of magic and energy, with swirling clouds of every colour of the rainbow. The sky is alight with multi-coloured lightning, and the winds are howling and shrieking as they tear through the landscape.

The ground shakes and trembles beneath the storm's fury, and massive waves of magical energy surge through the air. Trees bend and sway under the force of the winds, and animals huddle together for protection.

At the heart of the storm, there would be a sense of raw, primal power, as if the storm was a living, breathing entity. Some people might even believe that the storm had a consciousness of its own, and that it was capable of thought and action. To be on the edges was bad enough.

As the storm rages on, it unleashes powerful magical blasts and whirlwinds, tearing up the earth and tossing debris around like it was nothing. The storm is a force to be reckoned with, and those caught in its path would have to use all of their skill and cunning in order to survive.

Eventually, the storm begins to dissipate, leaving behind a trail of destruction. But even as it faded away, the storm's power lingers, a tingling in the air and the world would be forever changed by its passing. A truly awe-inspiring and terrifying sight to behold.

Around the world there are nodes where the land has held the powers of these storms, they are sometimes represented by circular stones or other objects both above and below ground.  Depending on the area and objects they can be used to make item creation, or more powerful spell effects.  They are often sought out by the magic users of this world and are generally well kept secrets or well defended.
