Trollskull Alley was a quaint shopping district in the North Ward. It benefited from being close to a major thoroughfare that led to the North Gate, nearby the wealthy families of the Sea Ward, yet just over the border into the less pricey North Ward.
The district was home to a wonderful variety of small businesses including:
- The Bent Nail, a carpentry shop owned by the half-elf Tally Fellbranch.
- The Book Wyrm's Treasure, a bookshop owned by the dragonborn Rishaal. The shop also dealt with spellbooks and offered services to copy spell scrolls.
- Corellon's Crown, an apothecary shop and greenhouse owned by the wood elf druid Fala Lefaliir.
- Steam and Steel, a forge co-owned and run by the fire genasi Embric, an expert weapons maker, and the water genasi Avi, an expert armorsmith.
- The Tiger's Eye, a private detective's office run by the investigator Vincent Trench.
- Lost and Found Tavern the largest building in the alley, had once been a tavern.
