The King's Guard are the guards that permeate the entire nation of Vinado, they have their own centralized rules and a larger national guard, The Makers, that they report to, but each the make up of individual town's King's Guard can vary wildly.
King's Guard in the Purple Hills may carry bows and shortswords while wearing light armour, while King's Guard in the Umbra Corridor might wear heavier armour and have battleaxes, warhammers, and war picks. There may be fewer King's Guard in the Small Wheat due to a more passive population, while in the Cog Plains the King's Guard may be very prevalent due to it being the seat of power and having prototype technologies.
