Post Social

The third era, the Era Social, was a cold war between the many gods of different alignments. The good aligned gods, now calling themselves the Triumvirate, discovered the plan to restart the world in a way that would benefit the evil aligned gods, known now as the Malignant Concord. And the neutral gods as well as some of their lesser deities worked to fix the tensions between the two sets, the demands from the evil gods became outrageous and the neutral gods eventually just gave up trying to fix things and allowed the conflict to escalate, aiding either side in preparing for a war. 

During this Era is some of the uncommon races were created. The dragonborn, both metallic and chromatic, tiefling, of all colours, and many monstrous races such as goblinoids, orcs, kobolds, yuan-ti, and many more, long before they were considered monstrous. Many of the normal creatures and animals were created in this time as well, both the malignant and benign.

The fourth era is known for the War of the Gods, where the Triumvirate and the Malignant Concord fought over control for the world. While the neutral gods were split in their preferences, causing many to side with each group and causing further infighting. This led to much destruction of the world the Triumvirate wished to protect. The God of Conventional War and the God of Metallic Dragons fighting alongside each other against the God of Guerrilla War and the Goddess of Drow destroyed a continent north of Baurothia creating what is known as the Shattered Isles. While a battle between the the God of the Sun and the God of the Hells made Dialecium a desert continent, and a battle the Goddess of the Moon and Goddess of Chromatic Dragons made Baurothia snowy continent. Destruction not only flattened the majority of Evelmore, it raised the mountains of Vinado, and moved the continents and islands further and further away.

During this era many magic weapons were made, to help aid both sides of the war, many of those items can still be found. It was also during this time that famous mages created new spells, such as Bigby’s Hand, Mordenkainen’s Faithful Hound, and Melf’s Acid Arrow. Those people have long since passed, but their names and spells are still remembered to this day.

The Era Martial was the era in which the gods were all forced to leave the Material Plane, the Triumvirate banished the Malignant Concord to the outer planes using the Ritual of Separation. But in doing so, they practically banished themselves to the outer planes as well, if the Triumvirate were to ever return to the Prime Material plane, the Relics of Binding would be destroyed, freeing the Malignant Concord.

The fifth and current era is the Era Industrial, much has changed since the Era Martial, including the influence of the gods. Following the War of the Gods, the Triumvirate created bounding relics for the Malignant Concord to secure them to specific areas of the Outer Planes. The Triumvirate departed from the Inner Planes and stuck to the Outer Planes, only coming to the aid their followers from afar when necessary. Ever since humanoids took over the Material Plane, there has been a lot of discoveries in the field of magic and science.

During this period, nations have risen and fallen, lands have been claimed, fought over, and returned or kept. During the last fifty years of the Era Martial, leading into the first century of the Era Industrial, settlers from Vinado came and traveled about the many oceans and seas of the world allowing the placement of races anywhere. Many people of different appearances, ancestries, cultures, genders, and much more moved throughout the lands spreading beliefs and ideals.

It was also during this period that the combination of science and magic has led to a new group of people known as Artificers, known for imbuing technology with magic. And a new creation called a firearm that requires specific training to master, and since they are a new creation they are not able to be produced by any smith.
