The Greyspine Kingdom is the main nation on the continent of Evelmore, the Greyspine Kingdom is the largest nation in Evelmore as it was once the main colony of Vinado. The kingdom lies on the Greyspine Mountain Range which was named by the Mountain tribe who makes up the majority of the population of the Kingdom and the other portion were originally from Vinado.

The Greyspine Kingdom is the most deforested nation of them in Evelmore, but that is because they mainly focus on stonework rather than woodwork.

Backers

Backers is the name used for people who reside in the Greyspine Kingdom, and the culture of the Greyspine Kingdom is the closest you'll get to having a second Vinado. The culture there is much more humanocentric than that of the natives who once lived there, but they do have some of that preservation of nature still within their culture. While the culture of the Greyspine Kingdom is very similar to Vinado, they're a much more hearty folk, the almost completely untamed wilds of Evelmore hold beasts not seen before. All young backers must learn to use a blade to keep themselves protected, and almost every backer carries a dagger at the very least.

Due to this connection with Vinado, the Backer culture is one that also encourages training in many different skills. But since Evelmore is a continent built on the back of the primarily elven culture of the Western Coalition, they also encourage the mastery of a single skill and dedicating yourself to one specific thing. So a blacksmith within the Greyspine Kingdom dedicates themselves to the craft of smithing, they also train in adjacent skills, like the purification of ores or tinkering with small mechanisms.
