First Genesis is the first day of the year and the commemoration of a new year, followers of Mat'harew, the Creator thank him on this day for sustaining all life and allowing for the world to continue. It is celebrated with grand feasts in town, usually with your entire extended family. You share tales with others around your table, in public, it is marked with a play showing the major changes in the town or city.
