Orcs weren't born for war, orcs were born with a fiery passion in our blood. Whatever that passion leads to is what an orc will do for the rest of their lives.

Just as with high elves, orcs find themselves living amongst almost all other ancestries. Throughout history, you will seldom find civilisations that are either solely orcish, or have no established trade with other settlements. You can find orcs throughout all sectors of civilisation, you could find orcish farmers and tradesmen, soldiers and commanders, or even courtiers and nobles.

Orcs tend to live shorter lives compared many other ancestries, but that doesn't mean an orcish life is any less full. In fact, quite the opposite is true, an orc will fill their life with as much love and diligence as possible. Orcs care deeply about their families, revering them almost as much as dwarves do with their ancestors.

Orcish Passion

There's a quite common misconception that orcs are a group of barbaric monsters, people who love to fight, kill, and destroy. And while true that the orcish cults of the Destroyer that love to murder, pillage, and raze villages, not every orc took on those aspects. Orcs were created in his image, but while he was a god of endless passion. Each orc set out to find what thing they are truly passionate about.

For some orcs, that passion is fighting, those tend to go off and become soldiers, gladiators, or adventurers. But many tend to have much more mundane passions in life, many find love in horticulture, acting, painting, smithing, animal husbandry, and much more. An orc's lifelong passion could be anything in life, and many take it as their primary mission in youth to find out what theirs is.
