Tilexia’s new multi facetted crystals actually work. The Flowers dislike change but this is revolutionary, I’m reluctant to admit it but if Tilexia can complete their work and grow these crystals reliably then it could very well plot the course of how our people study and practice magic in the future.
As for my own work, now that I have concretely studied a few distinct convergences I have been able to identify commonalities in the energy flows. I have begun plotting them out and locating other potential sites based on the information that I have. Tilexia’s theories with more complex crystals could also actually be of benefit here, I have shared with them what I know about the rate of oscillation and they have begun the process of growing a crystal lens with the right structure - it will take some time but my hope is that it could be used to actually view the energy flows making it much easier to pinpoint a convergence once in the general area.
Given what I now suspect about Amelia I need to restrict her access to the convergences, as such I am repurposing a room here at this old shine to keep these notes secure and I have cloaked the entrance behind magics that she will not be able to penetrate.
