Delos

The Delian Script is a long standing written language which keys to many variations of spoken Delian and other related tongues. It traces back at least to the foundation of the Circle by Telesphoros and is likely much older, despite some hymns crediting Telesphoros with its invention. It is a common language to record spells in.

Delian Magitech is renowned across the civilized Nexus and has done much to make the unstable planet more livable for people. It's primarily a composite of native technology, the Trains, and the wave of creativity unleashed by the rule of Telesphoros and his visions to the people of Delos.

The grandest example is the flying island, propelled separate from the whims of a great Arkana like Zephyr. Dozens or more have been constructed deep in the interior of Delos and they range across the land and ocean. Their gleaming stone skyscrapers are made possible by strides in energy capture, telekinesis, protective magic, and construction, let alone the systems used for day-to-day living in them.

Another vital field of magitech is Interstitium, which is a school of engineering for standardization and interoperability. Discoveries here make immense projects possible and even uncover strange questions about the base nature of reality.

Delos is notable for its wheat, olives, grapes, and seafood. Peppers, tomatoes, and cattle have come from Cinnabar to the east and have become very popular.
