Tondem is a union of four landmasses of which Bhulayen, Kerawan, Juwas, and Umbann are the current ones. It once consisted of En-Du'e as well, and its city, Layqasot, now Laikasot, was the capital of the former empire, Yirdem.

The Yirdem Empire was abolished 200 years ago when the O'kollesh invaded the island for its military opportunities. Many of the survivors from the Empire abandoned the island to remain Tondemites. The rest are now O'kollesh even though the distance makes the connection awkward.

The acting capital is Hen Sa'it, which lies at the foot of a canyon of freshwater which, in the rainy months, yields an impressive waterfall into the harbour city. The waterfall is known as the fertility god's blessing and is seen as a good omen for the next year. The rest of the year, the canyon lake acts as the freshwater supply for both the capital and surrounding towns.

Its only trading route goes through Laikasot seeing as O'koll governs the seas surrounding it and the trading toll isn't too pricey yet so they let it continue.

The union consists of several regions of which E, F, and G are the most politically active, while H, and I, for example, are nomadic and tend to stay out of the political arena.

The main landmasses are Bhulayen and Kerawan with the small northern island Juwas and the bigger eastern island of Umbann being under their rule although not a very strict rule.
