Ki'lam is located near the two lakes, Tan and Miemman, and is mostly known as the oasis of the Huk'an desert. It mainly thrives on attracting tourists for its unique architecture and the fact that half the city is underground. Thus, it is both a shady paradise under the heavy desert and a sunny paradise with freshwater and unique animals native to the desert.
Ki'lam is the more well known name for its original name Kitera Linu'e which means 'Hidden Treasure' from its underground city which is many hundred years old. The topside city is newer but tries to keep the interesting architecture of the underside of the city.
The underside, also known as Linu'e is always cooler than you'd expect but it keeps its temperature partly from magical means and partly from being so far down but it is also more moist than expected as it has the only known underground waterfall from the Tan lake.
