Long Term | Traveling in the city incurs exceptional luck. This could be bad or good depending on the Sympathetic ties. For those who have positive ties, traffic always seems to be light, the lights are always green, your car just misses the bird pooping on it. For those who have a negative tie, the opposite is true. |
Immediate | Space and Time seem to twist as he casts his magic. Streets become longer, buildings taller, locations overlap and bleed into each other |
Signature | The sound of busy streets, the smell of asphalt, the smell of street food |
Tilt | The twisting and turning of the streets makes it hard to hide any goings on, but it also makes it hard to focus on anything else. 8-again to Streetwise, -1 to Composure |
Mirón is a Guardian, everybody knows that, so why is he always so damned friendly? Some people think it's a ruse, others that he might just be a crazy Acanthus, and others wonder if he's actually just that friendly; how can you really tell with a Guardian? The fact that he seems all but joined at the hip with Cauchemar only furthers the mystery. How has he not driven the more reclusive Mastigos insane yet?
Roleplaying Hooks
- Info Broker (Guardians): Mirón is an Emissary of the Prophets faction. Finding information on people, places, and events seems to come easily to him, and when asked he usually just shrugs and says the City guides him. Still, if you need dirt on someone or something, he's always willing to trade a favor.
- Who Watches the Watcher? (Guardians): Guardians of higher status know he has ties to a local Seer. He reported it the moment he found out, and this swift divulgence is likely what kept him out of trouble. He's still being watched, but has yet to show signs of divided loyalty.
- Follow the Thread (Awakened): He is an open member of the House of Ariadne legacy. His magic focuses on the city, and despite claiming to have no skill with the Spirit Arcanum, he still seems to have a bead on the general spiritual state of his surroundings.
- Stranger in a Strange Land (Awakened): For those looking at him with Time sight, Mirón doesn't fully fit into the timeline. For those with the proper occult knowledge and experience, he seems to be the remnant of a uchronia.
- Can I Quote You on That? (Mundane): Mirón is a freelance journalist. He goes by the name Mateo Gutierrez, but any detailed look into that name quickly reveals it to be a penname.
- Hell No We Won't Go (Mundane): He is also fairly present in activist communities. Specifically, he marches for both queer and immigrant rights and can be surprisingly political.
