The Margreve keeps sending me visions. At first I tried to ignore them, but they didn't stop. I finally went to that wacky druid, Gruffias Neigh-Mane, who is the healer for the village, at least he took me seriously, but I'm not sure I should take him seriously.
He told me to quit fighting the Margreve and follow what she shows me. He also said he'd been having visions too, something vague about a threat to Bluth Grove.

Gruffias was right, there is something wrong with the Margreve. Following the visions, I found a part of the Margreve that looks like it's dying, only it's not. It's some kind of corruption that appears to be spreading. The plants look like they are withering and dying, but if you return even a day later, it's obvious that they've grown. This makes no sense.

Two centaurs of the village are sick, and Gruffias hasn't been able to cure them. Elder Finnourmous asked me to go with him to Wheedon Village, perhaps we can find a potion or two that could help.

Much has happened since we arrived at Wheedon. An outsider there was asking about the plant, collybiscus. I'd never heard of it but when the man, Eagehrt, showed me a picture I recognized it from the visions the Margreve has given me. I didn't say anything, there is something about this man I don't trust.
I was right about Eagehrt. He was attacked by a sentient cat like creature (a Tabaxi I later found out) and Eagehrt did something to heal himself. Several townspeople and Finnourmous fell dead when he did this. They'd all participated in some "expirement" that earned them 10 gold. The only good thing was that Stevnar Warhoof was among the party with the tabaxi. He helped me give Finnourmous a proper burial. Stevnar and his party agreed to go find the collybiscus and Eagehrt promised to give over the magic rings tied to other peoples health if they did this. It took a day and Stevnar's group was successful. I asked him to come see me before he left, but he must of forgot. That's too bad, I had something to give him that belonged to Finnourmous.

After doing some research, I found that the colybiscus plant is like necrotic magic that grows in the ground. How does this match up with the visions of honey I've been having? And a giant bee queen?
May 16
The Honey Queen honey is highly magical and much sought after in some circles. I feel like I'm putting puzzle pieces together. What does this have to do with trees that grow together in the shape of fingers? Or a spongy fungus that makes me think of tongues? Why can't the Margreve just come out and tell me what I need to know? It's so frustrating!

The tree shaped fingers-Fingers of Derende. Their sap can be used to extend the reach of spells. But where are these trees found? I have a few guesses. [Several pages have been torn out.]

Did I hear a werewolf last night?

Here's what I've found out from Jedza Nansa, she's been very helpful. The Tongue of Derende- If you eat the Tongue of Derende, you can replace one language you knows with any language you've heard in the last 24 hours. It only lasts for an hour.
Jedza is fascinated and worried about my research. She seems to know more than she's telling me. She listed out all these things the Margreve has given me visions of and thinks they're spell components, but she doesn't know what for exactly.
She knows where to find the Tongue of Derende, in the Cavern of Whispers. [A map is drawn.] I will head that way tomorrow.
