Ba'Jar is a powerful monk and one of Orth's finest martial artists. He founded the Fa Ram with Siân Jar, which acts as both his family home and a training school for other martial artists. Despite his power, he is a peaceful man by nature and prefers tending to his animals and teaching his students over being a warrior.
He first features as a voice offscreen during the events of The Fa Ram. During this adventure, we learn the Master is a powerful Monk and his number one disciple is Unknown, much to the amusement of the three mercenaries who find themselves there.
He returns in the finale of A Taste of Evil, where he and his adopted daughter Tiggu attempt to dissuade Rilira Fl'wr from storming Na'Ka'Ve City Hall, without success. He is then seen inside helping assist the ailing Brant the Lost in his duties as Governor, and shielding him when Irascor convinces her to blow up the office. Ba'Jar is the one who destroys Irascor's physical body, with assistance from Rilira who holds him in place and keeps him from escaping long enough for the fatal blow to be struck.
He now acts as an advisor and confidante for Rilira during her governorship when she needs his sage advice.
