The Band of Misfits is the official name for the lead character group in The Tale of Tir & Nox, Part I. The name was given in universe by Ash el Sabine and later affirmed by both Qau-dibab-āy'ḥāk-āy'āda and Kadar Rachid. After numerous adventures including essentially single-handedly saving the town of T'Kashire, the group split up following the deaths of Kadar and Syx. The name was later revived by Qau for his second adventuring party during the Balla Incursion.
