Ka'zael is a mysterious summoner and blood elf who disguises himself as a petitioner of the Grand Order in Mor'Koc. In the time‑loop story "A Short Month", he recruits the kobold Bel Kuko as a trainee librarian and uses his access to research planar summoning. Ka'zael's true goal is to open a portal for his succubus partner to enter the Materium. After Bel discovers his summoning activities and attempts to stop him, Ka'zael betrays her, stabbing her in the back and escaping through a portal.
Charismatic and manipulative, Ka'zael is a recurring antagonist in Bel's time loops. He is fascinated by planar magic and cares little for the lives he ruins in pursuit of knowledge.
