Bel wakes on the morning of Firstflower once more and realises she retains knowledge from previous loops. Although she fails the Grand Order’s admission test again, she spends days reading arcane texts and practising spell casting, improving her abilities. She avoids the suspicious summoner in the library and instead meets an adventuring party known as the Stormblades: the Troll K’Vin, the catfolk warrior Bonk, the bugbear Roberto Two-Legs, the Chameleon veteran Brumpti Croizati and the Wood Elf rogue Silence. They recruit Bel as their healer and travel from Mor’Koc to the village of Hommlett, which is plagued by a rampaging dragon. The party descends into the nearby mine, fights through undead and hazards, and finally confronts an adult red dragon in a cavern. Bel shields her companions with magic, but the dragon’s fiery breath incinerates her, ending the loop and once again returning her to her bed at the beginning of the loop.
