As the invasion unfolded, South Korean forces joined the conflict with the goal of liberating as many North Koreans as possible from both the regime's oppressive control and the potential threat of alien subjugation.
During the liberation of various political prisons, the collaboration between South Korea and the Frontiers cemented itself.
