The North or The Savage North, is the northwestern region of the continent of Faerûn. It is known for untamed wilderness, difficult winter weather, hardy and somewhat difficult inhabitants, and vast throngs of dangerous creatures. Despite its reputation, The North is also home to some of the greatest cities and oldest civilizations in all of Faerûn.
