The son of an ambassador and former law student at Kings College, Fitzgerald Winters is known as a rather dour and surely type of man. After his twin brother, Lysander Winters, went missing on a trip to Spain, his life had changed significantly. His parents were more overprotective of him and he felt intense survivors guilt over being the twin that was still "alive".

After being turned into Kindred by Louis Alard, Fitzgerald has a new lease on (un)life. He is forced to work on the Gilded Cage but his goal is to find his brother and where he might have disappeared to.

Brief History Synopsis

Fitzgerald was born of Ambassador Rolf Winters and Elsa alongside his twin brother Lysander in 1952. He is the younger of the twins and was never considered quite as strong as his brother, Lysander Winters. This hardly ever matters as the boys were often able to keep up with each other before too long.

The Winters family has been known to be a family of diplomats and politicians. As a result, they are a high society sort of family with many expectations. These expectations were thrown onto the twins from an early age and the weight of legacy would often overshadow much of what the twins would do. They would follow expectations but it was clear that Lysander had a heart that needed to roam. This desire to leave and explore outside of his father’s wishes caused internal strife within the family. Fitzgerald often begging for his brother to just ‘deal’ with things until they could eventually be relieved of their obligations.

That never happened.

Lysander disappeared without a trace not long after graduating from university, leaving the Winters family completely at a loss. He has been gone for nearly two years and Fitzgerald has felt guilty ever since, second-guessing his perceived relationship with his brother. The expectations loom ever greater now that Lysander is no longer around to share the burden.
