Founded in the 28th century, nearly 1,200 years before the End, the UHDB emerged in response to the catastrophic failure of the United Nations during humanity’s Great Intersolar War, which culminated in the loss of Earth.

Its primary directive is external defence with its forces shielding human space from existential threats, alien incursions, rogue AI, and catastrophic cosmic events.
