Extraterrestrial life, or alien life (colloquially, alien), is a human term used for life that originates from another world or solar system outside of old Earth and the Soul-system.
Most commonly the word Sentient Alien or simply alien is used for sentient non-humans by humans, while the term Xeno is used for non-sentient beings like fauna from other worlds. Humans might use the term xeno as a derogatory when speaking about or to otherwise sentient aliens.
