Baseline Humans are sometimes called Terrans, or Earthlings in reference to their homeworld Earth. The term was largely used in the time after Humans achieved interstellar travel to refer to a human both born or native to Earth as more and more of the species settled across the stars. During the following millenias after Earths destruction during the Great Intersolar War the term has largely been abandoned as the pepole native to Old Earth died out over the next ten to twenty generations, outside of being used in certain descriptive or symbolic terms. Some alien species may still chose to use the term when referring to Humans even after the End both as a sign of respect, or most commonly as a translation error.
