The Sundered Islands are an archipelago in the Sjóhval Sea. They stretch from the Outlands in Kalvete to part of the Lashed Peninsula, forming the Sjóhval's northeastern boundary. The islands, which are widely considered to be part of Estlan, are mostly unnamed aside from Bald Point Isle at the middle of the archipelago.
The Sundered Islands are uninhabited, as they are completely barren and devoid of most resources. The powerful tides of the Sjóhval have also resulted in jagged, rocky cliffs that make accessing the archipelago incredibly difficult if not impossible. Attempts to navigate along or around the islands have been attempted, however. Ships from the Outlands occasionally attempt to sail beyond the Islands and out into the Great Abyss for whaling, but these often result in shipwrecks. In the past, the Altauri may have lived on or traveled along these islands, with the Bridge to Nowhere believed to have stretched across the entire archipelago.
