The dense forests of Bruttstrond hold multiple settlements within it, many of which hold significance in Kalvete's history. Below are these settlements.
- Skógaustr: Skógaustr is the capital of Bruttstrond, sitting in the center of the Hold. An expansive logging city, Skógaustr is surrounded by multiple regions of dense taiga, such as the Draulog Forest, that the people of the city harvest from. The city also holds great historical significance, as it is the oldest city in all of Kalvete. As Bruttstrond was the last region to be conquered during the Marsigur Wars, Skógaustr feels notably different than many other cities in the Kingdom due to its differing architecture. This history comes with danger, however, as many rebel groups still loyal to the Black Jarl still hide within the surrounding taiga.
- Fjarrlund: Fjarrlund is a small logging village in southwestern Bruttstrond. The village lies within some of the densest woodlands in the entire Hold, making it feel more isolated than it really is. Aside from its logging industry, the village also sees success in hunting wildlife and mining ores in the Skyfract Mountains to the south. Outside of the village, ruins from before even the Cataclysm lie hidden and overgrown by the taiga. While life is mostly quiet in Fjarrlund, its proximity to the Iron Strait and Tualean Island have led to rumors about Vampires in the area.
- Hafflóa: Situated at the mouth of the Haffíngi River in northeastern Bruttstrond, Hafflóa is a somewhat small but growing port town. Being located on the shores of the North Sea, its ports connect Bruttstrond to various other Holds in the Kingdom and is crucial in some of the region's most important trade routes. As these trade routes and the town's fishing industry grows, Hafflóa is poised to develop into quite the large city in the near future.
- Endaná: Endaná is Bruttstrond's youngest settlement, being a small village near the far northern tip of the Northern Finger. Its northern location subjects Endaná to very harsh weather, being pelted by snow and ice for many parts of the year. This has caused the village some struggle in its growth, as its economy is limited to harvesting resources from arctic wildlife. Despite the difficulties of life here, the people of Endaná make life work.
