The King's Ground are a region of boreal forest that covers the entirety of Norderia, stretching from the Spine of the North and Skyfract Mountains in the south before becoming sparse and ending in the Hjertlande. The settlements of Norderia, such as Smithskeep and Halfmont, are found within it.
The King's Grounds were once the personal hunting grounds for a king long ago, back when the region was still known as Suðvilen. The wildlife within the Grounds were once incredibly abundant, but this old king hunted so frequently that their numbers are much lower than they once were. With the region then suffering the effects of the Kingdom of Kalvete's formation, this wildlife has yet to fully recover.
