The Imperial Military consists of all of the armed forces of the Holy Empire of Acolytius. It is the largest and most advanced military in all of Asobria. It is led by the Grand Marshal of the Imperial High Council, which is currently Sir Ephraim Jolan.
The military is divided into the Imperial Legions and Imperial Mariners, which make up the nation's army and navy, respectively. Nearly all of the subdivisions in the Imperial Military fall under either the Legions or the Mariners, with only a few exceptions. These exceptions include the Department of the Homeland, Department of Trade, and the Divine Aegis. The Department of the Homeland and Trade are external agencies that have ties to the military, mainly through their authority of enforcing certain laws. The Divine Aegis instead serves as the guards for the High Council and the Throne, answering only to the Grand Marshal.
