His birth was foretold in ancient prophecies that spoke of a warrior who would rise from the ashes and bring hope in dark times. This prophecy could not have been more accurate. Rok-Nar was born in the friction pools of the Temple Ship Yungaloq in the same litter as his faithful carnosaur Takenhu.
In the beginning he was very aggressive and erratic, but as the centuries passed he was able to control these traits. That is why Oxa'Laku chose him to be the military commander when he founded the new settlement. He spent most of his time around the cave on patrol or on hunting expeditions along the river. Occasionally he would stop by the nearby Tower of Friendship of the warmbloods, though he didn't like them, but even he understood that working with them paid off.
The spawning pools were fully functional and already preparing for the fifth spawning cycle when the Volcano Esmir came to life. He and his master Oxa'Laku were just outside the cave system. His master, in an effort to save as many as possible, cast a powerful spell and all the Seraphon were peppered with a strange stone dust that protected them from the magma explosion. At that moment, time seemed to stand still and Rok-Nar was faced with darkness.
A light breeze blew into his eyes, blowing away the stone dust, and the statue that had not moved for centuries began to stir. Rok-Nar awakens back to life and returns for what is rightfully his race's.
