Liberty Day

Liberty Day celebrates the triumph of rebel forces over The Alammar Empire in The Splintering, on the 48th day of the war. It's a day of much celebration in many different cultures. Liberty Day is often preceded by a 10 day festival.

Kingdom of Falglor: Festivities include gathering your entire family for a feast, usually topped off by the eating of a whole roast cow. The Festival before Liberty Day includes military parades, and hanging colored clothes from roofs, balconies, and other high places.

Kingdom of Ravenna: Festivities in Ravenna are typically much more reserved than others, seeing as most of the population is too poor to participate in the rambunctious celebrations like other cultures. Celebrations in Ravenna often include the first planting of crops and communal bonfires. Some communities also host potlucks.

Republic of Valdar: Festivities are often made up of the launching of fireworks all throughout the day, and staying up throughout the night until the dawn of next day. During the day, there are no public activities, only private ones, such as banquets, feasts, plays and the like.

The Yunnaiteddo Federation: While the nation itself is very fractured and different, celebrations remain mostly the same, with minor alterations depending on which clan you're a part of. Some common festivities are parades, theater events, displays of art, public readings, magical exhibits, dances and more.

Teckitan: While most of the population is actually merchants and made up of temporary residents, there are still festivities. Given the city's location as a melting pot of different peoples, there is typically no traditions set into place, and most festivities are combined from different cultures around the world. However, the rich, permanent people that reside in Teckitan typically "celebrate" by pouring buckets of coins onto passerby's from their balconies, typically to flex their wealth on the less fortunate people.

The Eari: Festivities include going to communal bath houses, eating large banquets of fruit and fish with family, and public contests.
