One of the main ports in Cuba, Baracoa, while older, is smaller and less crowded than Havana. More rural, and used more as a quick waystation by the Spanish, Baracoa is a pleasant, quiet little port town.
However, those familiar with Awakened society know Baracoa for another reason: it is home to a cabal composed of three of the most powerful mages in the Caribbean: the crafting duo of Brokkr and Sindri, and their associate Durnír. Brokkr and Sindri are both master craftsmen, Brokkr being one of the Uncrowned Kings and a master of alchemy, while Sindri is an unparalleled blacksmith, capable of forging wonders that most people only ever dream of. Durnír, however, is the most skilled member of the Perfected Adepts in the Caribbean. Notably, none of the three (and by extension, Baracoa itself) are affiliated - they are not members of the Diamond Orders, the Seers, or any notable Nameless Order. However, they are not hostile to any mage that shows them the proper respect, so long as they do not linger in the city - the only exception are the Seer and Diamond representatives that live in the area as permanent residents.
