Ulkatel 4th, 989 IaC
- The group met up with Steeve and Steve
- Additionally, spied a gnome and human drinking together in the corner
- The party made their way to the Initiate barracks in the Cloverhall, and claimed their beds
- Cora saw fit to clean out the latrines in the back of the barracks, conscripting Lambchop to help her in taking the buckets of feces out to the Owlknot River to wash them out
Ulkatel 5th, 989 IaC
- In the morning, the party was awoken early by Eliza Millheart, who gave the party a brief rundown of Cloverhall and its facilities
- Left to their own devices, the party decided to take a contract from the Initiate bounty board
- The party settled on two contracts; retrieving eyes from bullywugs and finding a missing person, Tarmen Elcox
- Steeve became more interested in a contract about a barn, and went off on his own to pursue it
- The party headed up to the Cloverhall Library to conduct research about bullywugs and the Muckmeer Swamp
- The party learned of various dangers in the swamp, including fire slugs, grabbers, and bullywugs
- In the meantime, Steeve headed off to the barn, where he harrassed its owner and discovered it had been affected by a magical anomaly that generated an never ending amount of shit
- Instead of helping the man, Steeve formulated a plan to steal his poop for himself
- At night, Steeve returned to the barn, Kel following him to find out that he was up to
- Steeve managed to open a side door, and began piling shit into buckets and mixing it with dirt to make a very simple fertilizer
- After noticing Kel, he attempted to have her help him in his endeavor, but she refused
- Steeve returned to Cloverhall with two buckets of shit dirt
Ulkatel 6th, 989
- The party was awoken again by Eliza, who scolded them about the recent unsavory business they had been seen conducting
- She informed Steeve that his makeshift fertilizer had been commandeered
- Resolving instead to focus on their contracts, the party visited the guild store, run by Rulan Vinesweep
- The party bought some boots from Rulan, but he didn't have enough stock to supply everyone
- The party circled around to the house of Caroli Elcox, the wife of Tarmen, to question her about her husband
- While they didn't discover much, they found that he was apparently wrapped up in a deal of sorts, promising that everything would be alright once it finished
- The party finally set off to the Muckmeer Swamp, making camp just outside after a day of travel
Ulkatel 7th, 989
- The party ventured into the Muckmeer in the morning, and fog of the swamps began to obscure the morning light as they moved forward
- Using the knowledge they obtained from their research, the party managed to avoid a number of dangers in the swamps
- As they traveled the group noticed a number of crude, broken traps around the area, likely set by the bullywugs
- Eventually, the group came up upon a group of bullywugs arguing over another broken trap
- Sneaking up on the frog men, the party conducted an ambush
- While the party took a little damage, the battle went mostly without a hitch
- Once they realized their luck had turned, some of the bullywugs attempted to escape with a captured Steeve, who seemed to relish the opportunity
- Eventually, the frogs were culled, though Steeve began to drag around the corpse of one of the bullywugs
- Moving onwards, the group encountered a large number of bullywugs further ahead, coming towards them
- Leveraging their current state and numbers, the group decided to retreat, hearing a scream as the second frog party discovered the remains of the first
- As they began to chase the party, Steeve convinced Lambchop to carry the bullywug corpse
- The group ran out of the swamp, eventually making camp once the threat had passed
- As the group attempted to rest, the bullywugs began to stealthily surround them
- The group began to run again, making it to a small lumber farm with a sawmill
- Steeve immediately run up to the mill and began operating a hand crank, turning the giant saw up above
- As the frogs approached, Ilryn, Steve, and Merja conjured an image of the party obscuring the blade as Cora baited the frogs into running straight into it
- As the frogs were reduced to soup, the Lambchop chased after the one bollywog that questioned the illusion, catching by the legs, breaking them
- As Steeve fiddled with his Enigmatic Cube, the group began to clean up the bloody mess as the owner of the mill demanded that they do so
- Steeve began to attract all small objects around him, and later disappeared into a misty fog
- Additionally, Steeve decided to adopt the now crippled, but living bullywug, forcing the party to take him along
Ulkatel 8th, 989 IaC
- As day began to break, the party finally finished cleaning up, and after nabbing some extra eyes, headed back to Reedenford
- The party arrived at late night, exhausted from their journey
- Electing to go through the secret tunnel to Cloverhall rather than walk through town, much to Steeve's dismay, the party made it back to the hall to turn in their bounty
- The group retired to the barracks, taking a much needed long rest
Ulkatel 9th, 989 IaC
- The party turned in the contract for the bullywugs, earning 60 for 30 eyes, receiving 51 gold after the guild's cut
- Steeve refused to take the "blood money", and took his "children" into the barracks to formulate his next plan
