Eliza Millheart

Hook of Clover

Eliza Millheart is a human hunter and the current branch leader of the Clover Company at Cloverhall. She is an accomplished vetaran of the Claw of Arali, as well as a sitting member on the town council in Reedenford. Eliza is slightly overwhelmed by her responsibilities as a branch leader, but is driven and highly invested in Cloverhall's success, and her juniors' safety. She often disappears on solo missions, and apparently has a hidden room in the guild hall.

Description

Eliza is middle aged human covered in light scars, with long, greying, wavy dark brown hair that she allows to fall loosely around her back. She has soft, brown eyes and lightly tanned skin. Eliza is rather muscular, though her frame is not imposing. She is missing her left foot, which she has replaced with a wooden prosthetic. When out on a mission, Eliza wears a steel set of plate armor, tying her hair back into her helmet.

Eliza has a motherly personality, and cares deeply for the guild. While she is willing to be firm and strict for the betterment of her peers, she prefers to coddle others if given the chance. Regardless, her soft nature will be supplanted by a hardened personality should the situation necessitate such a change.

Skills and Abilities

Eliza is a trained veteran of the Claw of Arali, with years of training and experience under her belt. She is a powerful warrior and is well-versed in martial techniques, a cunning strategist, and an inspirational leader on the battlefield.

Eliza is a physical powerhouse, capable of shoving back a beast multiple times her size with her shield. Even with her missing leg, she can run at terrifyingly high speeds.

Eliza is a rather knowledgeable individual, a result of her years of experience in the guild. She has intimate knowledge on a number of subjects, especially regarding local flora, fauna, and politics. As the guildmaster of Cloverhall, it can be assumed she has a fair amount of clout and insider knowledge regarding the Claw of Arali.

History

At some point, Eliza joined the Claw of Arali and worked her way up the ranks, eventually becoming a Hook in the guild. She was later transferred to the Cloverhall in Reedenford, and after the unfortunate passing of the prior guildmaster, became the branch leader. After taking this position, Eliza began correspondence with a mysterious individual named 'Z', who sent her a number of letters pressuring her to do well, with threatening undertones.

Eliza's reputation began to take hits in 988, when two arriving groups of Initiates to Cloverhall were wiped out by wildlife in the area, such as the Rampager. In Iron 989, Eliza oversaw the arrival of a third group of 7 Initiates to Cloverhall, and began keeping a closer eye on them than the previous groups, concerned about their ability to survive. When most of the Initiates proved capable of holding their own, Eliza attempted to nurture their growth, providing them with advice and covering for their mistakes. However, she was often missing from the guild hall for days at a time, coming back tired and haggard from her mysterious trips.

Eliza later became involved with Erdo Elfast's hunt for the Rampager when the beast had been cornered by his efforts with the Cursebusters. Eliza, who for some reason was in the area, used her martial prowess to fight off an Unknown under the Green Hand's control, keeping the group safe. After disappearing into the forest with the beast, she did not return to Cloverhall for many days, eventually returning late at night, tired, limping, and searching for something. She was discovered by several guild members, after which she quickly returned to her room on the third floor. After being followed by the guild members Lambchop and Caedali, it was discovered that Eliza had a hidden room behind her bedroom, where strange noises emanated from.

Eliza would later be discovered by the Cursebusters again later in the year, limping into the guild hall late at night, searching around the front desk. Upon confronting her, Eliza played off the situation and quickly left to her room on the third floor, where the faint sounds of splintering wood could be heard.
