Oola Cocklehoot is a member of the Claw of Arali and an Initiate of Cloverhall. Through her guilt from the past, she has become terribly fearful and antisocial, generally staying in her bed in the Initiate barracks of the guild hall. While usually non-confrontational, she has worked up a significant hatred of Steeve's disruptive nature.
Description
Oola is a human woman with short black hair, brown eyes, and fair skin. She dresses nicely, usually in colorful dresses. A shield and spear lean up against her bedpost.
Oola is extremely timid and fearful of the world, and is wracked with survivor's guilt. She prefers to avoid contact with most people around the guild, especially Eliza Millheart, who she believes resents her for her weakness.
History
Oola joined the Claw of Arali in Iron 988, along with a group of 3 other Initiates. Her time at Cloverhall was mostly positive until she fell sick and stayed behind while her fellow Initiates and a Claw, Jumps Through Lies, went on a mission without her. The mission resulted in the death of her team, and afterwards she became intensely wracked by guilt, believing she should have died with them. Following this event, she became timid and fearful of the world, sequestering herself to her bed and refusing to place herself in any more danger.
Following the introduction of the new group of initiates to Cloverhall, Oola was forced to share her barracks with a number of new individuals. She spent most of this time hiding under her covers, choosing to interact as little as possible while lodging the occasional complaint about their noise. When Glutagg was brought back to the guild, Oola immediately became resentful of him, especially as his leg began to heal and he crafted a shrine to himself nearby her bed. As a result, however, she began leaving the barracks more often to avoid him.
