The Kess'tir Bridge is a large, high, magnificent stone bridge that crosses the Sanar River, connecting the twin cities of Kerakoss and Palkam. The bridge takes about half a day to cross completely, and traveling merchants will often set up shop in the center of the wide bridge in order to entice travelers to peruse their wares, especially foodstuffs. People are known to camp on the bridge, and a rotating guard between the twin cities patrols the length of the bridge at all times of day to ensure its safety. The bridge is rather high, allowing large trade ships to navigate the river beneath it; as a result, a fall from the bridge will almost assuredly result in death.
