Raav is a small valley located in the western reaches of the Free Lands. Unlike the rest of the river basin, Raav is stony, dry, and arid, as if all life had been purged from its soil. Raav is known to hold the Covetous Beasts, a large number of strange beasts and abominations that steal objects of great value and importance to hide away from the world. The deepest part of the valley holds the Unknown, where many of these treasures are kept.
History
A paladin of Aeltra, Inglis Alexandar, once entered the valley to retrieve Valefinger, narrowly escaping with his life; however, most who dare to venture to Raav are not as lucky.
