Gutbowl was a goblin chieftain that led a band of raiders deep in the Scratchwood, centering their base of operations around Eldag Hollow. Gutbowl was a cruel and somewhat dimwitted leader that was quick to take offense, holding grudges deeply. He was killed by the adventurer Caedali during an ambush he planned to kill Lambchop, another adventurer that previously killed and scared some of Gutbowl's other raiders. Gutbowl only knew Lambchop as "Eye-Man". His hands were cut off by Caedali and worn on a necklace crafted from his intestines by the halfling.
Following Gutbowl's death, a surviving member of his raiding party, Wrackerfock, proclaimed that he would kill Gutbowl's murderer, which would make him the new chief.
