Belfeguard Horpskorter

Weakling

Belfeguard Horpskorter is a human citizen of Bucktuck City that resides in the East Cliffs district. Belfeguard is well off due to the wealth of his parents, who he still lives with. He is sensitive about his feminine appearance, and fights in the pit at the Barbed Bird in an attempt to appear more masculine.

Description

Belfeguard is a short, skinny man with a very feminine frame, fair skin, light freckles, and curly light brown hair that falls over his green eyes. Belfeguard appears relatively frail and weak, and seems to have little to no muscle mass.

Belfeguard is terribly insecure and eager to prove himself "a man", responding violently to provocations regarding his appearance and strength. Due to his wealth, he has a very disconnected understanding regarding the value of money. He holds grudges against those who insult him.

History

In 989 IaC, Belfeguard was mistaken for a woman by a serial thief that only attacked women in red. While returning from the Barbed Bird covered in blood, Belfeguard was robbed of a significant sum of money and a special ring. Later, Belfeguard met with the Cursebusters and begrudgingly recounted his mugging, and asked the party to bring his ring back to him, for which he'd offer a significant reward.

A few days later, Belfeguard encountered the same party at the Barbed Bird and asked about his ring, but the group deflected his questions. Mera Acrido insulted Belfeguard, taunting him about being unable to fight without his ring, and in response he registered a fight in the pit of the tavern with her. Mera easily outmaneuvered the weak and uncoordinated man, accidentally killing him with her shadow skunk. Belfeguard was brought back to life by Kel Stevaen, who extorted the barely conscious man for the price of her used diamond. Belfeguard eventually made his way back home, and was visited by the group again the next day, looking to stay at his house. He refused them as he was irritated that Mera would not apologize for killing him, and was eventually knocked out by his friend Unknown as a "cool trick".
