Abrax's Splinter was a magical staff of great power. It was purported to have been cut from the tree spirit Abrax, after the once kind tree became cruel and twisted by the magical fallout following the destruction of Hassant. The staff was ultimately merged into an avatar of Abrax, and presumably destroyed along with its body when it was destroyed by the sorcerer Journey.
The staff was old and worn, with wood that twisted around into itself over and over in a chaotic fashion. Small, cilia-like hairs were visible across the surface of the staff.
The staff is capable of channeling the wielder's thoughts into reality. It manifested this ability as Kreegal used it to live out his fantasy of being a wizard, effectively granting his wishes. However, it exacts a toll on the user in the form of a creeping chaos that infects the body. The severity of the wish granted correlated to the amount of corruption spread.
