- The group awoke in various states
- Grognock visited Dry Chew, purchasing a variety of jerky, notably Nightlurker jerky.
- The group met Krel'la Tavesh outside the eastern gate of Vardev, and began their journey to Kinoclast.
- Along the way, Wander spent his time consulting the farmer's almanac and collecting various plants.
- They arrived at Kinoclast just before the evening, finally choosing to cross the barrier into town
- The party met Lilac and Bearsy (Tommin), two residents of the town, and received nicknames from the former
- The party received a small tour of the town, learning about many of the people living there.
- They also met Layla, the Thurimbane captain in charge of the investigation of Vardev.
- While generally unhelpful, Layla gave the party a bit of insight into how the situation was being handled
- They visit Fart (Elaine) in the morning, to learn a bit more about the tower and Azmok
- Elaine blames the problems in town on the "hero" that came through a few weeks back, who apparently killed Azmok
- She speculates that he might have messed with the magic of the wards
- They stay the night at Lilac's and Bearsy's
- They enter the tower in the morning, making their way around Aerik the guard.
- Phaelnah discovered the door to the tower contained some sort of magic ward.
- After discovering the traps in the ground floor by way of Seamus throwing his peas around, the party struggled a bit making it through
- Grognock was hit by a few darts, and Seamus had his leg clamped by a bear trap
- Krill was immediately knocked unconscious by a swinging log from out of nowhere
- Krill's form changed to that of a small, fey-looking woman, with black hair and black robes.
- Wander attempted to rescue Krill, nearly getting hit himself
- Grognock was nearly hit by a cow as he attempted to help as well
- The party checked a ladder up at the end of the hall that lead up to a stone ceiling
- Grognock took the lead investigating the dark underground
- He jumped back just in time to keep himself from being squashed by a moving wall
- The group discovers Azmok, who is in actuality a giant floating skull
- He is being held in a magic cage of his own design
- Wander uses his mage hand to solve a RIDICULOUSLY EASY puzzle of switches on the wall next to Azmok
- The puzzle opens up the passage upwards of the first ladder
- On the first floor, the party solves a variety of terribly easy riddles
- On the second floor the party plays a badly organized quiz game, and Grognock gets lightly roasted by it
- On the third floor, the party did battle with a strange creature with the ability to shift its shape, originally posing as a ladder
- The creature's speed proved to be no match for the party, who quickly beat him down into nothing, especially as Phaelnah fucked him up with an extremely powerful Guiding Bolt
- They stacked the tables in the room together to create a passage to the next floor
- On the fourth floor they discover that the way up seems to lead back down, and going down seems to lead up...
- On the fifth(?) floor, as Wander attempted to make his way up to the sixth floor, he was greeted face to face with a bizarre looking cat like beast...
