Lilac is a young woman that lives in the reclusive town of Kinoclast. She was the product of one of Azmok's attempts to create life by utilizing parts of insects, crabs, and wolves. She is an unusually upbeat and positive character that makes the most of her life despite her dubious origins.

Description

Lilac is a shorter woman, around 5 feet tall. Her auburn hair is usually tied up into a ponytail, and two insect-like antennae sprouted from underneath it. Her tan skin was covered in dark freckles, and she had kind, orange eyes. Her left arm was a giant crab arm, and she had rows of sharp teeth. She wore a slightly ragged, short cotton dress.

Lilac was very upbeat and childish, somewhat naive and very optimistic. She liked to assign nicknames to people she met, usually based on a prominent characteristic they had.

History

Lilac was borne of the wizard Azmok's various misguided attempts at creating artificial human life by splicing together a variety of insects, crabs, and forests beasts, including wolves. While Lilac herself is uncertain when exactly she was created, it is likely to have been at some point around 930 IaC.

Lilac's personality slowly emerged after being taken in by the people of kinoclast, evolving from an animal-like state to being capable of speech and later conversation. Lilac grew fond of Tommen, or "Bearsy" during her growth, and picked up her hobby of giving nicknames to people as well.

In Iron 951, Lilac met the adventuring party the Peas when they came into Kinoclast under the direction of the Thurimbane. Lilac greeted them and quickly gave them nicknames, eventually serving as their guide to the town. She tried to give the adventurers as much information as she could on Azmok, but due to his distant relationship with the town, she could not come up with much. Regardless, she gave the group a place to rest for the nights they were there, even joining the party briefly for a drunken raid on Azmok's tower. Lilac would later venture up to Madrioc for a party in celebration of the defeat of the Nightseeker.
