The Darkheart is an adventuring party that exist as foils to the Peas. It is comprised of a set of individuals apparent dedicated to the revival of Vortek, a powerful god of war and discord in service of Batrax. The Nightseeker claims that the group is forced to function based on the whims of the demigod Tarisi, who has prophesied that 7 members of the Darkheart will participate in the summoning of Vortek, to be stopped by the 7 heroes of legend.
