There appears to be some opposing party collected the artifacts of Vortek. While you have met a few suspects, the group's true nature and members remains unknown to you.
Possible Members:
- Leadbelly Balnar
- While apparently good-natured, Balnar has been forcefully allied with the others for reasons unknown. The demigod Tarisi seemed keen on keeping him with his captors.
- Mardyth the Shade
- Mardyth appears to be driven by no more than bloodlust and greed, despite having his shadow stolen by the Shadow Lady.
- Abrax
- Seemingly the ancient tree of chaos from children's bedtime stories, Abrax's reasons for working alongside other is unknown.
- Yyk Sen
- Some strange fiend that seems to be loyal to the Shadow Lady. Seems generally nonchalant.
- "The Shadow Lady"
- A mysterious woman that seems to command great power. It appears that she controls much of what the group does.
Other interests:
- Renbedar Uleshan
- Renbedar does not seem interested in gathering all the artifacts, but he was very keen on studying the Sallow Stone. His motives are unclear.
- Rain Knight
- The Rain Knight sought the Sallow Stone before, and appears to be enamored with the Shadow Lady.
- Ventrex Caustar
- His intentions are currently unknown, though from Seamus' recollection of the battle in the bandit's hideout, it appears that he did battle with the Rain Knight.
- Circle of Merchants
- Suddenly aware of the threat the artifacts pose, and finding themselves in possession of one, the Circle has become another player in the game, though they seem unsure of what to do.
