Shalde is a powerful demigod that operates in service of Fectovarano. He is well known for uniting the armies of Caldenvald and Utesh-Verik against the demigod Vortek. As the legend goes, Shalde dealt a devastating blow to Vortek that tore the land part, creating a giant chasm. After the war against Vortek ended, the Monastery of the Mending Palm was established floating above this chasm.
