Life Alchemy is a specialized subset of alchemy that is primarily focused on the transmutation of life itself. Analogous for turning items to gold for a life alchemist is finding a solution for eternal life. While this is generally the end goal of most purveyors of the field, years of research have yielded various other alchemical fruits, such as the forbidden sciences of soul duplication.

In the Tomb of Zelvass, Wander discovered a series of books published by On'vyal Zelvass on the topic. When contacting the Library Devils at a later date, they expressed interest in the knowledge contained in the books, but Wander refrained as he was incapable of reading elvish at the time.
