History

Those who worship water to a fanatical degree of existed since the dawn of time, however, the Cult of the Crushing Wave found its true footing when Gar Shatterkeel took control in 1496.

Structure & Leadership

The Cult of the Crushing Wave has no real structure. Instead, it is made of cells which are led by their own leaders, spread across the Sword’s Coast. All cells relent to Gar when he arrives, however.

Affiliations & Relations

Generally, the Cult of the Crushing Wave gets along best with the Cult of the Black Earth. Individual relationships change due to the individual nature of the cult, however, most water cultists despite the Cult of the Eternal Flame and will actively hunt them down.
