The people of Grenmark live in the great scars that criss cross their land. What event created these deep cracks and gorges no one knows but there ancestors found them good places to hide from the large predatory beasts that wandered their empire and they have kept the tradition up not building upwards to burrowing into the sides of the gorges. There, unlike in Miradorium, there is no Realm of the Undercroft. The people of Grenmak are easy to spot on account of their blue skin. Some believe it a result of them living in the 'scars'.
