Dug into the great floating rock but separate from the Catacombs of the Silent Chanters, the tunnels of the Cold Stores are managed by Wind Callers in charge of storing vast amounts of supplies picked up on the floating palace's never ending tour of the empire. There are rumours that there is a secret section of tunnels where the emperors keep the frozen corpses of their most hated enemies in immaculate condition, their defeat preserved in ice for all eternity.
