In the Alchemical Hall the emperor's alchemists spend their days study potions and tinctures in near hopeless pursuit of the one thing all the money and power of the empire can't buy the emperor - eternal life. They seek the Eternal Dew a theoretical tincture that they believe would renew a man as the morning dew is renewed, as though reborn every day without fail. Many of the greatest thinkers of the empire are summoned to Songborne to work within the hall. They have as of yet had little notable success in discovering the secrets of the Eternal Dew. A side effect of long exposure to experimental vapors is that alchemists begin to share dreams, they are reported to have collective visions.
