This Tong precinct is famous for being home to the Meekoffs gate which is the accepted, official public entrance of the Meekoff held part of the Realm of the Undercroft. All official trade and sanctioned entrance to the undercroft by outsiders passes through this 'gate' to the tunnel network below the northern part of the eastern landmass of the empire.
The precinct is also home to vast smelting plants and forges used to process the metals extracted by the Tong from their mountainous precincts in the north.
