The name means the mothers path and like Crymoisin Paþaz in the age of many kingdoms the Church fought hard to gained a narrow tract of land that gave them access to the eastern coast. Unlike the Sythe the Church largely accomplished this not through bloodshed but through religious authority and bribery.
